GENAS Aviation marks a historic milestone as the first phase of infrastructure development commences at the Morocco Center of Excellence in Ouled Tayeb, Fès. Positioned south of Fès-Saïss International Airport with direct runway access, the platform is advancing from planning and regulatory approvals into active site development.
The initial construction phase focuses on site preparation, civil works and the foundations of the integrated aerospace campus. Over up to 100 hectares, GENAS Aviation is building a fully integrated industrial platform dedicated to customization and painting in the heart of Morocco, alongside maintenance, transformation and support services for aircraft, helicopters and business jets.
"This is the moment the project moves from vision to physical reality. Fès-Saïss will become a landmark for African aerospace infrastructure and Moroccan industrial excellence."
Early works include land mobilization, access roads and the layout of future hangars, technical buildings and campus facilities. Engineering teams are coordinating with local authorities and international partners to ensure that construction meets global aviation standards from the ground up.
As construction progresses, GENAS Aviation will continue to share project updates on site development, infrastructure milestones and the build-out of the six Industry 4.0 hangars that will anchor the Center of Excellence. The facility is designed to become a hub for aerospace innovation, MRO services and the development of Moroccan talent on the international stage.
With major administrative and regulatory milestones already secured, GENAS Aviation is building Africa's next aerospace landmark — a project already in motion, rooted in Morocco and oriented toward global aviation markets.
